Months of devastating, screen-numbing depression for Bella. This is visualized brilliantly through a series of "season changes" where we see her sitting by a window, as the world moves on without her.
Directed by Chris Weitz (taking over from Catherine Hardwicke), New Moon follows Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) as she celebrates her 18th birthday. A paper-cut at her own party leads to a horrific accident where her vampire boyfriend, Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), nearly loses control. Convinced he is endangering her, Edward decides to leave Forks—along with his entire family.
Rent it on YouTube or Amazon Prime Video for less than the price of a fast-food meal. The memory of Bella screaming from the cliff, or Jacob phasing into a wolf for the first time, is worth the small investment.
