If you are a fan of the action-horror franchise, chances are you have spent hours blasting through the chaotic campaigns of Resident Evil 6 (RE6). However, few things are as frustrating as clicking “Play” on Steam only to be greeted by a pop-up error: “The program can't start because steam-api.dll is missing from your computer” or “Resident Evil 6 steam-api.dll file download required.”
Instead, ask a trusted friend to copy their steam-api.dll from: ...\Steam\steamapps\common\Resident Evil 6\
